Update 2/13/2023 - Devlog
I've made some changes to improve the overall experience of the game.
Here's what I've been working on:
Increased hitstops time - To slow down the pace of the battle, I've increased the time between hits.
Adjusted camera angle - The camera was too zoomed in, so I pulled it back for a better perspective.
Library stage added - This is a new stage I'm still working on and it's now included in the game. More stages will be added in the future.
Story opening added - The main story has been added and more details will be added as characters and stages are developed.
Sound and visual effects - I've added dust and particle effects for added realism, such as dust kicking up when characters jump or fall, and particle effects for Ren's moves.
Bigger hit effects - To make the hits more impactful, I've made the effects bigger and slowed down the time for each effect.
More combo options - I'm still working on this, but I've added bounce to some moves for more off-the-ground combo moments.
Music added - I've added music for the after-battle screen and the new stages. The music is from https://conte-de-fees.com/ and has a cute and charming feel to it.
Ant character removed - I've removed the ant character to focus on the fact that the artworks have come to life. The robot character may be removed in the future as well.
Same as last time, the PC/Win build is more stable than the WebGL build.
